I think my boyfriend might be into my sister. Are these signs?

He is curious to know who’s she’s dating most of the time. Her last boyfriend he talked about how he’s afraid of him because he’s been to jail. He thinks her new boyfriend is ugly and told her that and told her that I said that too. He doesn’t mention him being ugly once but multiple times like he can’t get over it.

So, I think my boyfriend might be into my sister. Are these signs?

It depends, I know I was protective of not only the woman I was in a relationship in High School (who later became my wife), but her sister in High School. So he may not be interested in her other than he feels a sense of duty to look out for her, like he is her little sister.

I know I did, her sister got involved with a guy that was nasty to my wife's sister when they broke up. He stalked her. I caught him one day, trying to get into the house while I was inside waiting for both girls to head out. Needless, to say, I opened the aluminum door quick and it caught him on the nose, breaking it. I apologized and said accidents like that wouldn't happen if he left her alone. He never bothered her again.

I never told my wife or her sister, to this day, I think they just thought he smartened-up and heeded her requests to leave her alone.

If he is constantly asking about her then yes that could be a red flag that he is interested in her and finds her attractive , next time he talks about your sister just be like You have the hots for my sister don’t you and see what he says , if he gets all defensive and says No I don’t , just say yea you do , you constantly ask me about her , usually the truth will come out as to why he likes her

It's honestly difficult to decipher without knowing them in real life. He could just be asking about her to be nice or wanting to get to know the people closest to you.

At the end of the day, even if he does find her attractive, it won't matter if he's committed to you and you guys' relationship. People in relationships find other people goodlooking or attractive all the time. It's whether you act on it that shows how much he cares for you and loves you.
