My question was a joke.

I was talking to my wife yesterday and, I can't remember why, but something she said reminded me of that song. I sang the chorus to her and she was incredulous. She wondered why someone would sing about a vaginal infection. She thought it would be like someone named Chlamydia.

I had to google the song to prove that's what it said. We were both getting a pretty big chuckle.

So then I had to look it up and thought the information was interesting.

Right? It's unfortunate that candidiasis was accepted as the name of a fungal infection in 1923, and abbreviated to candida. Because Candida was and still is a beautiful name for women.

I would probably giggle, blush and say hi, can't say I'm great in these situations. But there are certain male voices that just does it for me, and I'm like damn did it seriously go that deep.
