Just to caviat off of what Marked man said, I myself would feel pretty uncomfortable lol. I was raised and taught, too always pay for the meal ( very old fashion ). I've also asked this question too the girl I asked out on the date too and she said " it's 2023 but now days woman feel the need to be independent as well and would like to help when they can ! " I kinda argued with her and still paid for her meal 😂. But we had a compromise or a deal. The next time we go we'll take turns on paying the meals for our future dates.

I personally wouldn't be comfortable with her paying. I would pay at least "mostly", but I really hate the entitled women who think it's men's responsibility to pay. I'm traditional, so I'd look for more conservative girls, but many liberated girls still demand to be paid for and courted or they won't go on future dates. It's hypocritical to expect men to uphold traditional dating roles while women are working making equal money, many won't cook or keep house, many are promiscuous and unloyal, many refuse to give her man children, yet expect to be provided and paid for like it's 1950. I pay because it makes me feel better and I'm glad to, but to women who think men owe them or demand men earn their affection, F-U.

I have no problem with that. But in the long terms I should have the option to treat her if I feel like it. The important part is that she shouldn't think she has the automatic right to my wallet.
