I am 24, smart and have a pretty face. I was a “late bloomer” so boobs didn’t really happen until college. An undiagnosed health problem led to a lot of weight gain in middle school and high school. I have lost some of it, but never been able to get below about 210-220. I was also sexually assaulted in college. I always thought being fat meant I was safe from having that happen. But I was wrong. I regained some of the weight then (apparently a common trauma response, who knew?) and it took a few years to lose it again. I have a lot of hang ups about my weight some of which come from just existing in the world as a fat woman, some are more personal. Is it possible for a woman like me to find someone?

You definitely can find a satisfying and permanent relationship, but you need to be ready to trust, which is not easy to do if you're too afraid to make yourself vulnerable to a new partner (not saying that this describes you). Make sure you only date guys who are respectful and compatible with you.
