Why does my boyfriend get spam from dating sites?

Do these spam messages mean that he is using or a member of these sites? Or is it possible to get spam messages from dating sites for someone who has nothing to do with them?

Everybody gets that spam. Even on my PS5 I get random messages from people pretending to be hawt chicks... and I literally do nothing that is sexy time related on my PS5. Same for my Facebook, Instagram, and even on my Twitter.

Just this G@G site for instance... I've gotten ridiculous "sexy time" messages just at random. It is completely possible to get messages from those sites when you have nothing to do with them. Adultfriendfinder and OnlyFans are particularly guilty of trying to lure people into their part of the world wide web. They just want that $$$. Every time I log into Doublelist. com a tab will just automatically pop up for AshleyMadison... Apparently, that chick is a cheating whore. 😎

Some of those dating sites send random spam. All they need is an email address, which are super easy to get from many sources. The same as you can get random spam from anything else.

So yes, it's possible to get spam from dating sites that you've had nothing to do with. Just like any other spam.

It's possible to get them without having ever visited them. I personally have not visited or clicked on any dating sites, porn, or even social media other than gag and I get spammed by dating sites and sexual stuff.

They probably still have his email address and want him to come back. Or he belongs to them and is not telling you.

Maybe he was a former member. It's also possible to get spammed by them.

I have an email I just use for Porn sites, another that never is associated with adult material (Not because I am hiding anything, just because it's easier for me to keep track off logins and whatnot). And so I can say with absolute certainty that p*rn and dating sites spam emails that have never been associated with adult websites.

It's possible to get spam just from curiously, but mostly innocently, viewing dating sites.

Registering on a website to get an even closer look, but still without intent to engage in any activity, will flood a person with spam.

I have spam emails and I have not visit them at all. Lately, i have been getting share files which is worst than spam. Is more like trying to hack in to your account. If you type your email on dark web check. It may be a possibility may show on attempts and gives you a list of times and the years. Dark hackers in the web tried to break into your email account.

So be careful assuming.

It's not what you think. He gets them because he's visited them maybe to see if you're on them ever think about that? He wants an honest girl Or maybe he had the phone before he met you, it doesn't necessarily mean he's cheating or looking for some girl to cheat with. I get emails that spam me, and they are porn websites I never subscribed to, and I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau against Google over the horrible emails I receive, and I do believe some are dating sights and I just don't want to receive them this guy from Google told to let them stay in the Spam folder while it doesn't improve it for me.

more likely is a little of both possibilities. as in, if he has ever signed up for one for what ever reason then likely his email was sold to many others and continues to be sold over abd over. hell, it's even possible to be like that if he signed up for something not even related (and probably many years ago) such as something as innocent as facebook or some business around town's rewards program.

Spam doesn't mean anything. I get spam from all sorts of sites that I've never interacted with. Just means someone got ahold of their email and sold it

The whole purpose of dating sites is to collect personal information so they can spam you. He's probably signed up once and typed loads of personal info in that they've now sold on.

Once the internet gets your information it’s over , you will get spam from a lot of shit , Dating sites is definitely one of them so more than likely you have nothing to worry about

He’s either a former member or he’s currently using those sites. You don’t get spam from dating sites without being signed up to them at some point.

i get spam email from doing a change of address with the post office. mind you these are not porn or porn related but there is also spam that comes from both "google" searching or with plenty of newer devices, speaking on certain subjects (yes i know this sounds like a conspiracy theory but it has been anecdotally proven) because newer devices do listen in on what you are saying for the use of advertising (am sure more reasons than this too) .
