I've been ignoring him but I noticed his reactions at that same time

But I know his feelings. He's the one who started flirting with me and I used to flirt back with him when I didn't knew he flirts with other girls too. But when I saw him doing that I stopped giving him attention and stopped flirting back with him and ignored him when he was opening up to me because I don't wanna love a guy who flirts with other girls. So I ignored him at that time and he looked so sad when I ignored him while he was opening up to me. But you say that it's not true when it's clearly visible
