This question was inspired by a person from a different site and solar system. The topic was about girls no longer liking boys. I told the guy from the Northern region of Uranus, that when I drive by a bar on Friday night that the line to get in is 5 miles long, and it's 50% boys and 50% girls. Pitching woo has never been easy, but some guys are better at it than others.

No. Plato (like most philosophers even today) was shit at relationships.

The problem is most people don't understand there is a large difference between artists, scientists and philosophers. A pickup artist is quick on his feet, can't teach the art for shit, but can give a few pointers. The scientist can't pickup for shit but can tell you all about it. The philosopher will just talk about the other two.

Hence why Socrates was not joking when he said "By all means marry. If you get a good wife, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher."

almost always better to tell the truth, EVEN in such situations, or else she will make it again, and wear the ugly shirt again, thinking you liked it. so those lies are not noble. a noble lie is "i am not tired we can talk a bit more".

It also kind of depends how good she is with criticism. I always try to be truthful wherever possible. But some people need a convenient lie more than the truth. Because they simply cannot deal with the truth.
