No shit! I got into huge arguments with two twisted women in their mid-20s who insisted that older men who think young women are pretty are pedophiles.

I shared dictionary definitions that say pedophilia is attraction to prepubescent children. Those women continued to insist that post-pubescent women were children and that men who think they are attractive are pedophiles.

One said that women aren't physically mature until their mid-20s. I shared a medical report on the five stages of female puberty. It said that the fifth and last stage of puberty is typically complete by 14 to 17 years old. That is when women are fully developed.

Who can rationally argue that any woman who has completed puberty isn't pretty?

Ephebophilia is actually the correct word for older people who pursue people in their mid-to-late adolescents, generally ages 15 to 19.

18 year old women are past the age of consent. They can vote. They can join the military. They are old enough make their own decisions. If she is sexually active, who cares about the age of the man she chooses to partner up with? Some women like older men.

As far as that goes, there are plenty of 15 and 16 year old women who get into clubs with fake IDs. So what who they choose to hook up with? The age of consent is just an arbitrary legal designation. In some states it's 16. In some countries it's 15.

In days gone by, many women got married at 14 years of age and considered themselves to be old maids if they weren't married by 21.

When I was in 8th grade and still a kid, there were girls in my class who had boyfriends in high school. When I was 16, my first girlfriend was 14. She had been in one previous, short-lived relationship and wasn't a virgin. She was a also on the pill because it was the time of "women's liberation". Believe me, she was more mature that was I.

I started going steady with my 3rd girlfriend when I was not quite 18 and she was barely 16. We were still together when I was almost 20 and she was not yet 18. Was the age of consent really relevant?
