Why does my girlfriend keep changing her hair?

So we've been dating for about 4 months which is honestly not that long. When I first met her, she had her hair really long, which obviously means she had not changed it much in years. I also look at old pics of her where its basically the same. So she cut about half of it off. Then a month later basically cut it SUPER short. Now she has just dyed it like a week ago. Why did she go from having the same hairstyle for years to changing it like every month now?

In your case of course it's not a breakup, don't worry, but it seems to work oppositely as well. Being in a relationship may have increased her confidence enough to be ready for a change.

It could even be a good sign. Long hair is generally the most effective in attracting guys, so now that she has a guy she does not have to conform to the rules of maximizing her attractiveness. It could indicate she wants to stay with you.
