So my friends and I were talking about this particular friend of ours who’s girlfriend is way too insecure about herself that she takes over his entire life. It’s gotten so bad that he moved away two hours just to be with her, and drives after work two hours to just get home. Not only that, but he tells me that she gets into fights with him about not giving her the attention she wants. And on top of that, she’s so self centered that she thinks any girl who doesn’t even know he exists, anywhere near him is going to steal him😂🤣. She literally controls his life. I don’t know what to say to him, but she’s a bitch from my point of view. And him a dumbass for making her his mom. Should I break it to him?

yes but show evidence/proof like listing her acts so he can finally wake up and realize it

if he didn't , then he'll just have to go through a hard lesson to finally understand and u can't do anything about it bc it's his lesson and it's his own reality

Word it in a nicer way and then tell him. Sugarcoat it. No one wants to hear harsh things like that about their girlfriend or boyfriend. It can break apart your friendship if you’re too harsh with it.
