I watched a video where this guy stated that he dated a girl who was on the spectrum and neither of them would go out or interact with others socially and it was kind of like a prison. So my question is what do you do when someone who is neurotypical don’t understand you and therefore don’t want a relationship with you but also you can’t do a relationship with someone like you because you will just magnify each others issues and make both of your mental health worse.

My wife is autistic, and I'm NT.. I would disagree. Granted getting her to go out is tough, I'm kind of an introvert my self so it works.
That is not bad, but what is bad is people saying Autistics should only date Autistics.
I was told this by my ex girlfriend she was was neurotypical she goes maybe you should find someone autistic
Then I seen a video where a guy did that and they both were miserable because they both had their struggles that were magnified by being together for example lack of social skills, and other aspects and the guy pointed out how it fell apart quickly because people on the spectrum have their own particular issues and when two people like that come together it’s immensely stressful because your meshing two forms of autism trying to forge things and ultimately someone is gonna become overwhelmed and overstimulated because somewhere their needs aren’t being met
