We had a date planned and both never followed up and he's ignoring me now. What do I do?

Ok so I met this guy last year cause we had the same class together. We hit it off and started talking and texting each other everyday. A couple months later, he gets back with his ex and we stopped talking. Over the summer, he started texting me again and that's how I found out he broke up with his ex a couple months back. We started talking again and even planned to go on a date. When the day comes, I don't get a text from him or any updates to see if the date was happening. That was a month ago. Were back in school now and he just ignores me and it's just been frustrating.
