might be interested in my boyfriend. I was wondering if it’s ok to be suspicious of her?

For example, my boyfriend and I were at blues dance and this one girl was walking towards us smiling and it looked like she was going to say something to my boyfriend. Also at a swing dance the same girl put her stuff down next to my boyfriend at the table we were sitting at.

I think you're reading into it and you've got some posessiveness and jealousy issues to work through.

Talk to your boyfriend about what you're noticing. Ask him to stick near you and reiterate you don't want to switch partners ever.

Kiss him in front of her, if you feel a need to press your position.

But honestly? She sounds like the normal dance night gal - just friendly, smiley, happy to dance. Also, putting her bag down doesn't mean anything other than there was space there.

Deep breaths, look at her behaviour objectively, and reflect on why you're so immediately jumping to thinking she wants your boyfriend.
