OUCH! This guy was a low class jerk. After we got in his sports car on the way to his house for a bar-b-que - suddenly he pulls the car 🚗 over and walks into this restaurant and makes a call. He got back in the car and said he'd have to take me home. That was his brother on the phone ☎️ and his sister-in-law is in labor and he needs to go to the hospital. So, right back home I went.
Ya know, I was so gullible back then, I actually believed his bullshit lie. I figured it out when I got older, and then I felt the hurt that some creep did that to me. 🤬

Freshman year in college I had a friend who was a commuter and he lived in town. He and his girlfriend said that they had a friend that they wanted me to meet. So on Saturday night they pick me up at my dorm and we drive to this bar that was about 5 or 6 miles away. A little later the girl shows up. She was okay looking but she was sort oof a hippie and I was in ROTC so she probably thought I was a fascist. We really did not get along at all. My friend thought it would be funny if they just left me there with her. So they somehow sneak out and leave me there alone with this girl. When we figured out what was going on she tells me she is leaving. I ask her if she could give me a ride back to the dorm and she said no. It would have been a 5 mile walk in the freezing cold. When she got in her car I jumped on the hood. She tried to shake me off as she drove through the parking lot but I had a good grip on the hood and held on. Finally she stopped and let me in the car. We had a really quiet ride back to my dorm. Theree was not a second date.

Yeah before the internet I used the personals in the paper to meet women but some of them were so obvious when they weren’t attracted to me they made up excuses to leave and one even acted really bad about it. I didn’t even bother calling her again after the date

I don't think it was a blind date but, I felt as though I HAD been dumped at one date. I took her someplace, not sure who or where and, while there, she went off with someone else so, I just picked up and left! There was also a night I took a potential girlfriend to a movie and she asked if a mutual friend could come with us. I said he could and, while sitting in the theatre, she spent all her time with him and they both ignored me so, as soon as the movie was over, I got up and left intending to blow them both off! But, they caught up with me and started asking why I left.

I have been on a few blind dates where I knew it wasn't going anywhere even if we were that last 2 people on earth.

However I put on my best smile and was polite and finished the date.
