I’m that odd duck that prefers an actual phone call to texts 🤷♀️…
@bros26 people like that are still out there.. hopefully you find one 🙏
That was a misprint. You meant to say old duck. lol. We old people all seem to rather talk on the phone then text. Imagine that, actually interacting with people? These kids will never understand.
@godfatherfan well did mean odd but old works too😁🤣… And it’s mostly younger, but some older people are starting to text more than phone call… even my mom sometimes… I’ve never been much for texting, but my right hand gets bad (carpal tunnel) so really don’t like texting a lot when it’s flaring up…
I know ya did, my comment was a joke.
I don't mind texting. But I very much prefer talking. Esp if it has to do with dating or relationships. People can read tone into the text when it may not be there. That is a lot harder to do when talking.
@godfatherfan so true
It depends. If they feel like the guy is a catch and they're trying to charm him and make him fall in love then yes, they'd love more texts from him because it means he cares and they're succeeding. If the guy is trying to win them over but they're not that into him they'll just see it as desperation. That's my experience anyway. My girlfriend right now, she always wants to call me or wants attention from me and I need to slow her down because she loves me very much and thinks I'm amazing. But other girls, where I liked them but they didn't like me as much, they just used me to pass the time and feel good about themselves.
As for me if truth be told I’m not a texter & I never was & I don’t think I ever will be. As for me I like hearing from people & I like hearing their voices I don’t like it when people blow up my phone with messages. As for those messages I do take the time to read them & although it may take me time to respond to them I will get back to people & their messages as well. As for women I’m sure they love receiving messages but all day long would probably get you blocked or some shit like that.
Most do…I don’t know why…
I don’t friend them.
I hate texting…wasting time.
I have been the one to tell them…stop…I’m calling in 2 minutes.
(some women can talk forever … I can’t stand that either)
I am also the one to tell my gag friends that I am calling…not doing messaging here.

Who has time to text with someone all day long, especially if you have both legs broken and you can't go running to the store or the mall?
I have messaging disabled on my phone, so that should answer your question on that. I am only interested in people that actually know how to communicate properly.
Messaging is NOT proper communication? Why not?
The amount of times when I've heard gossipy women or women my age say things over the years of "he always messages and would dislike if I didn't reply" about guys on dating apps, not me. Or the amount of times where women only want to "chat" to guys in person or online if they want to chat to that person, example a male friend, a male they fancy, they don't just want any male. To talk to them. Let alone be chatty.
Yeah 😯😯😔 sigh.
Ah well 😄😄😄😋😋
So clearly I didn't vote Agree 😆😄😁
I don't know. I don't text much and she complains if I haven't texted in a while so I've never gone the "too much" route to see how it turns out.
No way. I'd like someone to text a little but going overboard isn't necessary.
i find men annoying even when i am dating them.
Depends on the person really. A lot of women would find that to be annoying.
I did when we were dating and living apart. Now, we usually just call each other and make it quick because we know we’ll see each other at home. We do check in when we both leave the office.
I’d rather you just call when we’re both free.
I don’t want to keep picking up my phone.
So I voted disagree.
I disagree, women work too, and interrupting them in the workplace all day long is really unprofessional. It's okay to send a message here and there, but multiple messages is taking it to far.
I can't stand conversations through text. When I was dating my now husband we used to check on each other once a day or we would just call each other and spend one hour on the phone talking.
Depends on the woman. My wife prefers personal interaction over texting.
I disagree personally. That would drive me crazy for someone to text me all day long. I'd burn out.
I don't like anyone texting me all day long. Heck, we I compatible romantically nor platonically with someone if they have a need to text all day long.
I despair at those who are unable to communicate using their tongues.
Not like clingy texting every moment of the day! We have lives to live outside of texting! If we want to talk that badly just meet up!
Im not big on texting. I prefer calls. Buuuut, i’ve had 2 potentials texting me nearly every day, and i admit, i’m a tad impressed
@bros26 i got ways for them
To call lol
@bros26 in due time lol
I like a few texts during the day and more after working hours.
But from 6am-5pm I'm pretty much busy.
You would only have the time to text all day if you dont have a job or are super unfocused in life
Yes, we women are the Borg and when unimatrix decides we should love it, we ALL love it. XD
