Men, are you alright with your girlfriend texting you throughout the day?

Lately, I have been thinking of my boyfriend more often than usual and have been wanting to reach out.
The past few months I have been staying at his house almost everyday. After work I’ll stop at home, but will go to his house around 5pm or 6pm until the next morning when I leave for work, which is around 6:30am.
Because of my last relationship, I choose not to contact him when I’m away. Mainly because I wanted to give him space and time to think of me. Especially since I do go over and spend the night daily.
However, lately I have been thinking of him more and more and want to just text and tell him “Hope you’re having a good day” or something. I don’t know. At the same time, I don’t want to seem clingy and annoying. Mainly because my past relationship, we didn’t spend as much time, so texting and calling was our form of communication and had become my way of getting the time I didn’t get. Except, he was always busy and texting and calling became traumatizing.
I hated that feeling of being ignored or annoying.

I think because of my past experience I will not text or call my current boyfriend unless it’s important and I have to. And unless he reaches out to me, I try not to reach out at all. Because again- I do see him daily.
Anyways, Men- is it annoying to you if your girl is expressing herself through a text when y'all are apart even though y’all do spend time together daily?
