He knows you were cheating or you were flirting and setting up this new guy while y ou were "committed" to him. Then once you got the new guy all lined up you then broke up and immediately got with the other guy.

So, if cheating direct or indirect (flirting, talking, feeling out and lining up a new man when you were supposed to be committed and respecting relationship boundaries when dealing with other men). If there was some cheating, loose boundaries going on, on your end.

If you weren't talking to other guys and you two just didn't work out, You didn't feel compatible with him and then you broke up and then you were 100% single. You had no one in your life and eventually you started to meet other people and then you met your new guy and clicked... if that is the situation then he is just hurt and lashing out.

Any talking and texting and flirting with the new guy while you were still with the old guy is evidence you are no good.
