Does anyone feel scared to say the wrong thing to a man and be ghosted?

I used to struggle with this and it didn’t help that I was very soft spoken and shy. After like 25 I stopped doing this, because I can’t lose what isn’t mine, and I won’t silence myself to keep a man. I come as my authentic self and speak on things that are important to me, if it chases him off then he was not a good candidate.

It really is. Before I got in my relationship now and I was on dating apps or trying to find someone in general it was so much trial and error. Lots of ghosting, time wasted, disappointments. I eventually realized that I had to know myself to know what man is good for me, then I had my standards and refused to break them. When you date with intention and don’t form attachments too soon, it makes everything easier.

Less than an hour. But when he mentioned living on a farm I felt something for him. It's rare to meet a guy who would love on a farm. Then he just ghosted me. Out of the blue.
