I first met this guy in the summer in my hometown. He was here on a work trip and we spent great days until he had to leave. We kept in touch, in the beginning we talked weekly on the phone despite time differences.
Then he changed and distanced himself a bit. He told me that there was a lot going on in your life and I was understanding. Twice he also stood me up when we agreed to talk on the phone.
Last month he was back in my country and visited me for a weekend and took a long drive and paid a lot of money for it although he could have gone with his colleagues on a nice trip. We decided to make it exclusive and that we like each other very much.
Since he is back home we have hardly talked on the phone and even argued because I thought it was important to me. He gave me a telling off on the phone which was very mean and when I told him he first ignored me and then said he was done discussing the recurring topic and that he didn't forgive me.
It's very controversial because on the one hand he tells me nice things, that he wants to keep me in his life, he misses me and so on and on the other hand we don't manage to talk on the phone or he only offers me a short phone call after 3 weeks because he is busy. I don't know what to think about it and it doesn't make me happy but I don't want to lose him either because we actually get along well. Does anyone have any advice for me?
