This is my own fault. I got too emotionally deep too quick with someone of the opposite sex. I never admired the guy (so lacked attraction) but liked him platonically because we had a lot of situations in common (aka stressful work environments etc).
We ended up talking everyday on the phone for 6 months. It was never anything more than venting and general chatting.
I guess I can see how he developed feelings. I just did not.
His feelings for me are overwhelming. So I tried to end the connection. I gave a lot of closure. Being like since we are opposite sex people and you have such intense feelings for me its making me uncomfortable and since we aren't going to date... I guess there's no room for much else.
He has had psychotic and abusive reactions. He says he thought our connection was going to be forever and I am betraying him for abandoning it.
I don't know how to get out of this situation. I didn't use him. I thought we both were on the same wavelength for ages.
I am trying to do the right thing but he is reacting quite extreme. Dont know what to do..
