Ah man, that's kinda tricky. It really depends on the guy I guess. Some dudes definitely have bigger egos than others.

I don't think making the first move necessarily means you'll have to do all the chasing afterwards. But it could possibly give him the impression you're more into him than he is into you. So he might not try as hard to win you over or keep you interested.

That's why flirting and subtly showing your interest first is usually better, before making a big obvious first move. Feels less desperate that way on your end, and makes him still want to prove himself a little.

If you do make the first move, pay attention to how he reacts and acts after. If he starts flaking on plans or taking forever to text back, he's probably expecting you to do more of the work now. But if he seems happy and keeps putting in equal effort, then I wouldn't worry too much about it.

No, most guys won't unless they are full of themselves and they have an abundance of women, most guys understand that they need to be making the first move so they will start to make sure you dont have to. I dont think there is anything wrong with making the first move, if anything as a girl you have a higher success rate. I think a lot of guys are stuck between she might like me but I might be overthinking. Personally I really admire woman who make the first move. I don't expect them to chase me at all. The fact that they show genuine interest in me is making her 10x more interesting to find out if we are compatible. The fact is when you Girls make the First move there is already about a 60% chance that he will like you, But when us Guys Approach a Girl there is Probably only about a 15 to 20% chance that She will like us, Probably even less and you wonder why most Guys don't Approach.
