Aw man, that is weird that he unblocked you but still ain't texting. What's the point then? Maybe he's just confused or having second thoughts or something.
A few possibilities I can think of:
- He wants to see your socials and stuff again but isn't ready to actually talk yet. Maybe needs more time.
- His sister is still on his case and watching him. So he unlocked ya to let you know he's thinking of you but can't text openly yet.
- He's testing you to see if you'll reach out first before he makes a move. Guys can be dumb like that sometimes.
- Got cold feet about getting back together but doesn't fully wanna leave the door closed either.
I'd say call or DM him real quick, keep it light and friendly. Something like "Hey, saw you unlocked me, just wanted to say hi!" See how he responds before assuming the worst.
Give him a bit then try again if still nothing. If he keeps ignoring, maybe just leave him be for now and he might come around eventually. For now don't stress too much... he could just be tryna sort his head out. Hang in there!
Here’s my better response: Ah man that's kinda weird that he unblocked you but ain't texting you still. Like what's the point then y'know? I'd be kinda annoyed too if that was me. Maybe give it a bit more time and see if he comes around. Could be he's just freakin' busy or somethin'. But if he keeps iggin' you even after unblocking then he's prob not worth the time. You can do better than that! Don't stress it too much, something better will come along.

I asked him to unblock me and he did.

I would just block him and keep him blocked.
