Was the man suing 27 women on Are we Dating the Same Man website really just desperate for money?

About a month ago, I asked what people thought about Illinois Man Nikko D’Ambrosio suing some nearly 30 women for 75 million, and the Facebook group creators of the "Are We Dating the Same Man," website in which users are invited to discuss issues with the troublesome sets of men they have dated so that other women can avoid dating potentially harmful men. He claimed these women slandered him and caused him financial harm as well as claims of doxxing and invasion of privacy.

But...the plot thickens. D’Ambrosio, who was literally on trial for fraud when he filed the Facebook/women lawsuit and has been during the month of January, has now been convicted of 2 counts of Tax Fraud in which he was scheming to claim two years in a row that he only made about $4,000 a month, and made massive donations to charity (which he did not), and that nearly $300K of his earnings came from money he'd won in sweepstakes. Each count comes with a maximum sentence of three years.

So in your opinion, is this still truly a man seeking justice against the website/women or a man in desperate search for a way to potentially make money because he knew the inevitable was coming or other?
