Anonymous(30-35)+1 yYeah I consider it cheating. If I was with a girl and I found out she's going out behind my back and doing that, I would consider her (1) Ungrateful to me, (2) An immature child, (3) Wants to sleep around. I know in this day and age people want to conform their old beliefs and try to stay hip and cool with the latest trends of pronouns, verbs, status, having the IDGAF mantra and personifying this emo/rebellious behaviour on the dating scene. I don't fall under trends, movements, and other nonsense. I know what I want in a young woman, I know what I can bring to the table. I know my worth and value and I have learned don't invest time in a girl who is going to normalize chatting DEEEPLY with 20 other guys, ill eliminate myself from the equation. Girls and women are awful at making choices. That's why a lot of girls I see today have daddy issues or issues with men/guys. It's because they have always been hurt by males in their life or guys they dated. The genuine dudes who invest and want to give love are often the one's who get hurt by the girl or woman because she's now programmed herself to go after toxic guys, it's what the doctor ordered and women can't admit that. So they come on sites like GAG and they'll be ALL GUYS ARE ANTI-FEMALE... please, there is genocide going on to Palestinians as I type this message out, I rarely see girls on GAG standing up for other girls who are being shot in the head by Israeli forces or Israeli forces dropping bombs and blowing off limbs of other Palestinian women. I have to say that last point, I don't mean to get political but I'm tired of the bashing women have on this site towards guys that guys hate women but in reality women don't even stand up for each other.

+1 yIf your intent is to have him call you for a date, then yes, it's cheating.
If it's just a business request, for example, he's a dog walker and you are looking for one, that's fine.

+1 yYes. Your intent was emotional and sexual, as you found him attractive. Giving your true number was a deliberate act of betrayal. No forgivenness.

u +1 yIs that something that you would do if your boyfriend/husband was present? If not, WHY not?
30 Reply I wouldn't call it cheating necessarily but you are pushing it in my opinion. You are tempting yourself to cheat and either consciously or subconsciously you are setting up a backup. If it's behind your boyfriend back and he wouldn't approve it is borderline.

+1 yWhy are messaging someone other than your boyfriend? Why are you going out when you have a boyfriend? You are in an exclusive relationship and yet you are going out with the clear purpose of being flirted with as if you were single and then you are giving your phone number to people as if you were single. Well you should be single cause you are cheating anyways

+1 yYou're making your own bed. This is wrong. You should never put yourself in a situation where you're giving other men the impression that you're interested in them when you're in a committed relationship with someone else.

+1 yYes.
because in the context, it's not serving a purpose such as giving your number to a repair person or what not. You're literally giving it out for some sort of attention.

I think it is. Micro cheating. Anyone who does that considered unreliable to me.

+1 yNo, you give a phone number to friends, family, the pizza place, stores, basically anyone you call. Giving out a phone number by itself means nothing.
Flirting or sexting or calling to hookup via phone is cheating though.00 Reply
