Do you consider exchanging numbers while in a relationship as cheating?

My girlfriend says its cheating but I tell her I will not go to cheat on her with them its just just exchanging numbers and some texts.
And I don't do it when I'm out with her but only when I'm out with my guy friends its kind of fun for us.

I wouldn't call it cheating but you must ask yourself why you're getting their number in the first place and what your intention is. Getting the number for a friendship wouldn't bother me but if a guy is getting every girl's number they come across, that would be a problem because it'd look like they're not up for a committed relationship. I want them to be texting me all the time, not loads of girls along with me. Girls like to feel special, like you're the only girl you want and that's not how you make a girl feel special. Usually though, people give out their number to someone they find attractive and intend to have a connection with.

You're going out and meeting people at bars and then asking for their number "as friends". I would be annoyed if I was your GF too! It sounds like you're one quiet night away from cheating. It would be one thing if you were at a coffee shop or hanging out online. But you're going to a bar. A bar where people go to hook up. A bar where people exchange numbers when they want to hook up.

Do you see how this is a problem for your girlfriend?

Look girls are sneaky creatures what if the girl just sends you a nude when your with your girlfriend what if her intentions are bad you need to have more respect for your gf why do you need to meet new girls every where you go. Unless your trying to do something else there's no need. other girls can be home wreakers. If that's what you want then go for it

What are your intentions in getting the numbers? If you want to make friends with females, which doesn't happen, but let's say this is the perfect world, then theoretically, no. You only be cheating if you divulge emotionally and/or physically with another person.

Grey area, I guess. There's a girl at work that I'm friends with, and we have not exchanged numbers, because I don't want to deal with exactly what you're dealing with.

Because she's really cute, and I know how it would look, even if I have no interest in her apart from being friends.

It's clearly not cheating, but it does open the door for reasonable suspicion.

Depends on the context of why you are doing it. If you are emotionally/mentally cheating doing it for the thrill or the admiration of the girl than yeah. If you just want to be friends and its not a dick measuring thing than no. :)
