Boyfriend randomly blocked me on social media?

my boyfriend and I have been in a rough patch in our relationship for a few months now. We had a sit down convo and agreed that it may be best to take some days a part for space. We have gone through hell and back on both sides. We both cried, he dropped me off at my apartment and we said we loved each other and all that sappy stuff but like I said, we agreed it would be best for space, not breaking up. I texted him asking if he got home safe, no answer. I don't know if he took the talk differently, but I noticed there was this girl on his ig that liked all of his posts except the ones of me and him. She’s been very consistent on liking his stuff. I asked him who that was and I forget what he said but it was something nonchalant like he didn’t seem phased by it. It’s been about 4 days since we’ve spoken, and just this morning I woke up to me being blocked from his ig and fb…but he still has my family on fb.. I am so confused and hurt. We were going on 2 years together and I literally feel like I’m being ghosted. Why do you guys think he randomly woke up and decided to block me? (I haven’t posted anything nor reached out). Only thing he hasn’t deleted me from is Snapchat and TikTok.

I don't think that is right I know it's only social media but if you haven't broken up I don't think he should have blocked you. I'm sorry but makes me think he is hiding something. But if you are on a break I think you need to step back and give him space at the same time.

Yeah it’s all very confusing.. he is a very emotional person, has a lot of anger issues, where as I am not as emotional, I have been through a lot in life and I don't know why but I just don’t react to bad things the way he did. So to him it felt like I didn’t care whenever he was upset or whatever, but to me, I felt numb. He has been abusive towards me and I think once he did that i closed off even more. He never seemed to get that, he always blamed me for doing it because of the way I “treated him” it was just a mess. Now that I’m blocked I’m gonna just assume we’re broken up but 4 days ago we said I love you and he dropped me off at home. He was very controlling with me, my phone. He would snoop at night in my phone and block random people like he never had a reason to check my phone.. he’s isolated me from friends, etc. so obviously he has a lot of mental issues. But part of me thinks the only reason he would suddenly block me like that is if he already has some other chick lined up which hurts even more to think about since we’ve been dating for 2 years and he claims I’ll never find someone like him, he does everything for me. You don’t just move on in 4 days unless there is someone else and I just feel like a fool.

He also deleted our pictures my friend showed me that as well after I was blocked. So I know there is someone else. I couldn’t even fathom moving on that quickly after claiming to be in love with someone so I’m just really confused. Why are men like this.

You are no fool but I'm going to be honest this doesn't sound like the best guy. You just said he is controlling and isolated you from friends, this is not right at all. I'm sorry he has mental issues but that is no excuse to do either of those things. And if you have been going out for two years blocking you is the rudest way to break up with you, he should man up and tell you. Social media is the only way you can connect? Text him, snap him or other form of communication. He needs to let you know what is going on.

I texted him just a brief message saying how I am not quite sure why I woke up to being blocked on everything unless ur hiding something but that I would appreciate if you were adult enough to at least talk to me rather than ghost me like that. We’ve been through so much together, I’m 24, he is about to be 27 in March so like there’s no reason. I just texted him how I didn’t appreciate that and thought it was childish basically and no response, it was delivered though so I guess he didn’t block my number but maybe he did now I have no idea lol

I texted him that this morning and in my time zone it’s already Sunday so doubt I’ll get a response

I think that is about the best you can do, he is definitely being childish if you are in official relationship. if he deleted the pics of you I think it's over honestly. But if he can't respond and actually talk to you about it you are better off

Sorry this is late been busy lol but yeah I sent him a message just saying how I don’t appreciate being blocked. No response that was a week ago or so. The message was delivered so I don't know if he ended up blocking me after that message I haven’t reached out. But he basically blocked me on everything except Snapchat and TikTok. And I’ve posted maybe twice since all this on my snap and he’s been at least like the 5th person to see it every time. So not really sure if he was completely done with me why I would be blocked on every other social media but not Snapchat. He also still has my family on Facebook which I find weird.

But here is the thing. As a man that claims they are so loyal and “did so much” he would always say, like he would hit me and do crazy stuff but there was always an excuse, I was the reason behind why. I was the reason he went crazy or whatever the case was. Despite the situation and how messed it up it was, he would buy me tons of stuff after hurting me. He would get overly controlling. Constantly go through my phone while sleeping. Accuse me of cheating when there was absolutely nothing on my phone. Like bizzare a$$ shit dude. He would lose his mind if like if I was at work and my location read I was outside of the building or something. Like it was just nuts and I never was like that to him. I was never that crazy girlfriend that checked his stuff out and maybe I should’ve cause blocking me out of nowhere is crazy. And he blocked me but still has my grandma and my mom on fb. So I’m just confused lol

Not to mention, he was always the one in the relationship crying and emotional and screaming and just has mental problems clearly and would get mad at me if I didn’t engage with it like he called me the worst girl he’s ever dated. He was always controlling about my whereabouts and who I was with so it’s like if he really got another girl after 4 days of no contact. That’s crazy. The way he acted was like an over protective nutjob boyfriend obsessively in love so i am confused how I’m blocked if he was so worried about everything I was doing not even 4 days ago lol
