So me and my girlfriend recently broke up about 4 weeks ago. We are still talking by text and tonight she called me at 11:00pm don’t know the reason but when I tried to call her back I didn’t get a response only a good night text message minutes after. Why did she call me then?

It's hard to say for sure dude, chicks can be confusing sometimes. A few reasons she might've called:

- She was missing you and wanting to hear your voice even if just for a few minutes. Breakups are tough.

- Could've been bored or lonely tonight and you were the first person she thought of calling.

- Possibly having second thoughts about breaking up and trying to reconnect without actually saying it.

- Might just be stringing you along still while keeping you interested til she finds someone new.

The lack of response when you called back is weird though. My guess is she misses the relationship sometimes but isn't ready to fully get back together yet. I'd be careful not to get your hopes up too much.

Play it cool for now. See how she acts next time you see her in person. If she's all over you, maybe there's a chance. But if distant, don't chase her man. You deserve someone all in! Keep your options open in case this one stays messy.
