Do younger generation guys just not approach girls?

I’m 18 and I think I’m pretty attractive but guys don’t approach me at all. Even my friends don’t get approached and they’re beautiful. Do 17-20 year old guys talk to girls first anymore?

I think in general a lot of men don’t approach women as much as we used to for a number of reasons. One is fear of rejection. Maybe he feels as though she’s so gorgeous he wouldn’t have a shot. Other reasons include women shaming men by calling them creepy. When in reality yes he looks kind of awkward coming to you trying to speak but that’s cause he’s nervous. If he’s never done it before chances are you’re not going to come on like a Don Juan, smooth like fine fine. He’s going to mess up. Women would say he’s being creepy. Men don’t want to be accused of things like rape, sexual harassment, etc. Plus men are just tired of being told we ain’t shit. That women don’t need us. We can do everything men car or better. We’re strong, independent. Also a fear of being blasted on social media. Maybe you accused him of starring at your ass when it may just be a gust of wind blew something in his eye so it looked like he was winking at you. A lot of men are realizing they don’t want western women, that they have nothing to offer. A lot of delusional women who think they’re perfect 10s who feel no need to self improve. A lot of toxic women as well. There’s multiple reasons.

I remember being that 17-20 yr old and it’s a bit of a meh time lol, especially if you don’t look older. Also you are in the area that 18-24 yr olds with jobs and experience also operate. At 17 you have very little income and dating someone who is 19 is hard, especially if they are working. Why you are not getting approached is likely due to guys of that age in your area not having much experience or confidence, those that have, are dating.

Fear of rejection, especially if you're attractive, it actually disentivises guys from approaching you because they assume if you're so attractive you must have something going on for you.

I never get that even attractive people have to be talked to in able to get into a relationship. I’ve only had 1 short relationship in high school now I’m in college.

There's general no point for young guys to do so unless they're athletic, wealthy, or both. Women don't accept those , who aren't anymore like they use too.
