Why do people hate white people?

I have been going to college for the last few months. Just recently started getting into the dating scene. There is one particular black girl in the same class. we are friends and I flirt with her a lot. I'm trying to ask her on a date but afraid she may say no. The main reason is her parents hate white people. I don't understand why.

Because the leftist democrat/media complex has been selling this particular segment of the population that all their problems -- 100% -- are due to oppression and discrimination by Caucasian folks. If you live in the US, then white people should understand that the permanent oppression of black people will leave scars on them.

There is no surprise to that and I fail to understand why you yourself cannot understand why this kind of stigma occurs.

I fully understand people of color that have something against white people because, let's face it, there is still segregation against black people, hispanics and other minorities. The hell, even the natives are being segregated in the US, in their own country that has been invaded by white people.

All those facts are reasons enough to have a grudge against white supremacy in the US.
