Yes. I like my guy friends' posts and stories, same as my girl friends'. It doesn't mean I want to have sex with them. And if a guy liked my story, I wouldn't necessarily assume he wants me. I would assume that he just likes the pic or the post I shared.

I have no sexual desire for anyone on Instagram. I've only found myself browsing others stories recently out of boredom and when I see something I agree with or like, I'll like it. I might very occasionally leave a comment, but in no way am I hitting on anyone. Instagram is weird for me to try and hit on girls.

Is it normal? I'd say yeah when you're bored. Could someone have ulterior motives for liking someone's stories and trying to slide into their dms discreetly? Absolutely. But as with most things in life, it goes by a case by case scenario. It highly depends on the person.

That's pretty normal thing for guys to do, yeah. Just because a guy likes a woman's stories consistently does not indicate romantic interest.

I think I would be a little bit more suspicious if a woman was liking a man's posts consistently, just because women are so much more shy about expressing interest. So I think it's more of a statement when a woman does it, but it's not something I would read into much either way.

Yes it's normal, I have liked and followed girls on Instagram just because I liked their content and had zero interest in them. Now me if I saw a girl like and follow I general thinks it's possible they like me because that doesn't happen much for me.

Yes. I mostly just have friends followed and my profile is private. So I like stories from my friends/ acquaintances/ and coworkers regardless of gender.… I would perceive it as normal behavior. I have a couple of old male coworkers that always like my posts and stories, but I don’t post much and I always like theirs as well.
