Why am I starting to think women are their own worst enemies?

I look at women and the choices they make in regards to men. It's no wonder she black and blue every other second week and I often wonder why did she even consider this man as dating material. Yet women pay the price for picking wrong men. Do women enjoy the thrill of men who abuse or dump them for trash? I honestly think that it's hard to find good women who think highly of themselves who have motivation and goals. Moral and family values.

some people (both women and men) come from abusive environments, and that's the only thing they know. And because that is known, it's also safe and predictable.

If you had a drinking parent who beat you every few days and then was a few days of break, you have this rhythm printed into your brain. You know it, accept it, and you can predict it.

now... dating a "normal" person is a huge risk, a huge unknown. You don't know what situations trigger the punishment. You don't know what punishment can be, how often, how hard... it's unbearable to live in constant fear.

try to find other perspective than to judge people you know nothing about
