Trending & News Technically not creepy but I dated a 28 yo guy when I turned 20, looking back at it now there were a lot of “creepy behavior” that I failed to notice. A 28 and 20 doesn’t seem like a big age gap but mentally speaking, the gap is rather significant (and I was even considered mature for my age at the time while he at 28 was considered to be kinda immature lol). So personally, if I could go back in time I would avoid dating that 28yo dude as a 20yo but in your case, it really depends on how you met, and if you were going after her specifically bcs she’s younger.
Yeah for sure, you grow a lot as a person each year you get older in your 20s. Are you uncomfortable with the age gap or are you more worried about what people would think?
Yeah that makes sense. From the perspective of a girl though it can come across as kinda weird especially having gone through something similar myself. But at the same time this is pretty common.
i mean it's kind of in the middle of both, if it works it works i guess but i just don't understand what kind of similar lifestyle a 27 year old has with a 20 year old - I'M 20 and i can't think of anything i could have in common with someone who's 27, at least not anything that strong to date them, i couldn't imagine any of my friends right now dating someone in their late 20s either because our lives and values just seem so different
At the end of the day if you guys are good with it dont care what the world thinks as long as it genuine, my wife is 22 an im 35 but im also in the army I met her 4yrs ago an because I look so young nobody really knows but I wouldn't care I love her an she loves me.
An you probably are but if its a thing that will bother you then take it slow real slow an enjoy her company I was with my wife a year before we married an that speaks volumes in my profession solider get married in 2 hours of meeting a girl. But I needed time to see how she adapts to my life moving me bieng gone for months at a time you have to make yourself comfortable is what I'm saying before you can move on so do what you feel is best.
Why would it be "creepy"? You're both adults and even both in your 20s.

It's not. Age is not consciousness. If you have 2 good people it's okay. If you have 1 or 2 bad people then it's bad regardless of the age. People act like people our own age don't take advantage of us too.
I don't think that is creepy, he still pretty young in the eyes of the dating world.
It's fine. Not creepy but would certianly qualify as a little odd
Why would that be creepy? If she was 14, yeah. But 20 is adult (except for booze in the US) and that isn't that much difference.
Consent, safety and legality are my only concerns. It's fine.
Pushing it for sure…but not quite creepy…8 years difference is where I’d say it starts getting creepy for her age
mine is 35 and i love it
it pushes it, but at least she's not high school age
It’s fine…
Why would that be creepy? 😂
As long as you guys click and get along, I don’t see a problem with it.
I know I’d have a hard time not to be attracted to a sexy, mature 21 yo.
So go for it
You are both consenting adults; so not creepy.
Fine
