So I went to Azores with a friend to a hostel and I met a guy there. We bonded really quickly and while playing a game one night he said that he didn't want a serious relationship because rn he's travelling a lot.
That night we fell asleep on the couch of the hostel's and we kissed in the morning. Since then we've been always together and having like this vacation thing. I was supposed to go home on Saturday and we only said good bye with a hug nothing more. But I had this feeling that I would meet him again. My plane that day was cancelled because of the weather so ofc, my first reaction was to go and see him. I stayed three more days !
For those days, he would even sleep with me at my hotel. Nothing sexual happened tho. On my last day he asked if I wanted to walk with him for a bit before saying goodbye. It was like 1am and we went near the beach where we took this polaroid picture and spent quite a long time in each others arms without saying anything. But he kept kissing the top of my head and caressing my back.
The connection between us was so strong in such a short time. He's from Austria and I'm from France so distance is quite ok since we have a direct train to each others countries that takes only 3h.
I left the island this Tuesday and he was just texting me saying that he hopes the flight gets cancelled again. I got back to Lisbon where I'm in Erasmus until may. And he's coming to see me tomorrow in Lisbon because his flight to Austria needs to stop there for a day.
We've been talking a lot by text messages, and he's the one sending messages first. I'm just scared that he only wants this "funny" vacation thing. He's coming to Paris for my birthday in July, and he's been talking a lot about me going to Austria too (I started learning german).
I don't know what to do, should I keep a certain distance to avoid getting hurt or try to talk to him about maybe trying something together. I feel like my flight being cancelled was something from the destiny.
