We went to highschool together ill call him A. We never dated but my crush/ first love started from there, regrettably at that time I was too shy to confess so... He eventually moves away to Canada while I stay on the island we grew up on. Time passes I reach out to him on Facebook and so it begins. We chat talk about our life I finally confess, he let's me know that he also has feelings for me too but we both know we dont want a long distance relationship.. should be the end right? NOPE.
Im now in my thirties dated different people etc but through those years A and I would reconnect after staying apart and silent for months maybe years , talk about life and reminisce about how good it would be to just be with each other since we seemingly understand each other so well. The love has never left and everytime we reconnect it hurts just as much, feels like a rabbit hole of what ifs and wanting someone you can't have EVER. If you've noticed im recently trying to redistance myself and damn freaking hurts.
Before anyone asks its financially not possible for me to go to him nor is it for him.. its quite expensive.
