Why can’t I find a boyfriend online / through social media?

i’m naturally shy and i don’t look very approachable since im naturally very serious and i have very few friends and i don’t talk to boy in real life because i don’t really get the opportunity, i’m 16 and everyone is dating right now and i’ve never had a boyfriend before. a lot of guys talk to me on instagram but they always end up ghosting me, asking for sexual pictures, asking for sex after hanging out once or twice , playing me or simply aren’t interested.

what do i do? can i improve something. i’m considered physically attractive and a great body.

You're 16. Believe me when I say you're a frog in the well right now. Your horizons will broaden when you go out into the world and you'll find a partner relatively easily. You'll also learn to be less shy through your experiences in life and just meet a lot of people. Eventually you'll have a partner and you would wonder how you ever thought the way you're thinking right now. Just be patient and try to live your life courageously.

My advice is to not worry about this right now. Soon you will be out of high school and your dating pool will be much larger. Also you will have a chance to find your people. There groups doing whatever it is you enjoy. Go meet them.
