Can we talk-- should I be worried?

My boyfriend wanted space to deal with school stuff and family issue, i respected it. But he would text me every other day. And now he asked me if we can talk---- should I prepare for the worst.

If I were you, I would say to him,

"Yes we can talk, but be VERY careful with your choice of words. because If you're planning on breaking up with me, you need to be very sure it is what you want. Once it is over, you'll be forever dead to me! So... What would you like to discuss :D?"

I realise that is extremely confrontational, but here's the thing. If he wants to break up with you, he is going to do it anyway, and you showing him that you don't need him (EVEN if he is the only guy you want to be with forever) will make him think.. what if I'm making a mistake, and he will take that with him forever if he does.. OR he could be wanting to talk about something totally unrelated, in which case it gives him food for thought in future..
