Girls, girl that rejected me originally is really pushing me to continue being her friend?

Context: I’m at the stage in life where i’ve got about 7 close female friends, and 8 close guy friends, so I have no problems with friendship. There’s one girl I’ve had dates with, and have been physically flirtatious with who I asked to be official with, and was rejected (which is fine).

Fast forward to this week: I told her there’s no way we can be “super close” as friends, and she’s been really angry about it (to the point she said she wants to make SURE we stay friends by insisting she show up to my apartment to talk this out).

It may sound mean, but I’ve received flack (from girls) for having too many female friends, and I really believe I need to cut this one off. What’s the best thing for me to say to ensure she knows we can’t be friends anymore?

So if you know you can't be friends, first do not let her come to your house. Just talk to her on the phone. Explain why it is you don't want to continue the friendship. Be honest and blunt, do not try to spare her feelings because us girls will always misunderstand if there is room for it. If she tries to argue it just say sorry but I can't. Then hang up do not let someone force a friendship on you, if you are uncomfortable with it, regardless of how she feels about it because she had no problem rejecting you and placing you where she wants you. So stand your ground and place her where you want her which is not one of your friends.

90% of my friends are male, and I am very close to most of them.

I can’t be friends with somebody playing with my hair, cuddling with me, calling me every night; none of my actual female friends do this. I tell her this, and she just continues; making me want to cut this person off!
