How long should I wait for him to ask me on a 3rd date?

Just went on a 2nd date to get drinks and it went well. It was pretty late, so he offered to commute/walk me home (30 min commute in total). The next day I texted to say thank you for walking me home and he responded but didn’t follow up on a third date. I texted him this afternoon but have yet to hear from him. Should I assume he’s not interested in another date? How long should I wait?

I’m glad the 2nd date went well! ❤️ Try asking him if he would be interested in a third date, he might be waiting to see if you’re interested in a third date or what your plans are. If he doesn’t respond back in a day or two after that, then it’s safe to assume that he’s not really all that interested.

If you like him, wait as long as you want. Don't send him a bunch of texts though... that sounds clingy and possibly controlling, and guys don't like that.

24 hours without a text back is good enough to assume he's not interested enough to put in basic effort.

You said you texted this afternoon and haven't heard from him. If he takes a day to respond, then it would look like he's not putting in enough effort to show he's genuinely interested.
