We’ve been dating for about a year and three months and living together. I’ve met his friends, but not his family. He usually talks to his family twice a month, and they seem to have a good relationship. When they ask him about meals, like what he ate when I cooked, he tells them he got DoorDash instead. I’m curious why he does that.

Might be as simple as he does not want to be embarrassed or as complicated as he is not serious about marrying you. Just loving together till a big fight and ending it.
