I am REALLY excited about the idea of being with an attractive older women, but if I am being honest with myself I want a wife and kids and all that... and I get distracted wasting my time on people who I don't have a future with. I also don't want meaningless sex, so yeah...

I have a friend who dated a widow with 2 grown kids.

His objective was also selfish, sex and material advantages.

However he thought he would marry her.

Long story short. After about 5 years, they broke off.

Reason: his parents were against the marriage, so we're the widow's kids.

As you see, he has a slightly more noble plan with marriage in mind but yet failed.

Hence I also agree with other Opinions: don't waste your time, and hers.

Unless both you agree it's just some friends with benefits, I suggest leave the relationship with minimal hurt, soon.

If all you’re offering is a casual arrangement then you need to be very transparent about that if or when you meet this older woman. It wouldn’t be fair wasting someone’s time for your own selfish needs, while knowing you’ll never marry her.
