How would you take this question during a date?

If you were on a date and your date asked you, is there anything you think I should know about?

Would you take this as a insult or as incompatibility? Would you know what they are asking?

This can be taken many ways and I have thought of how someone would react to it as it's some straight to the point question and I wonder if it would be a valid question to ask a date, kinda like putting all the worst on the table, I think if they accept each other it will be a strong foundation, im sure we can all kinda correctly assume what this question might be pointing to if we were to think back on ourselves, because i know that i got an idea on what id throw on table and if they accept me knowing so then thats strong connection on the first date no?

That's a rather bold question to be asking on a date, but I'd be neither insulted nor would I rule them out as being incompatible.

I guess that it would depend on how "on my toes" I might be when the question was asked, and also the tone and demeanor of the asker would be taken into consideration.
I could see myself responding in many different ways and watching the reaction of the asker of the question.

I'd then see where things go from there.

Well yea, I think that foundation has to be built properly with good materials, also is better than maybe finding something else down the line you could've accepted if it didn't catch you by surprise or misunderstood as it being hidden from you.
