That honestly depends if the ones being compared here want to marry but for the most part, in a way yea and that's simply because of how society is, women constantly have to worry about their appearance because men are more physically attracted when it comes to luring any changes of being approached, so they have to put far more effort in their appearance and as time goes by that window starts to close as it does for anyone with age, it's possible this might lead to them believing that their door for marriage is slowly closing as well which might lead to them feeling more pressure in having to move a bit faster to reach their goals in marriage.

For marriage it's more effort required for women because since men choose who to give the ring too, their efforts for the most part is focused on just attracting women and if they like that person they buy a ring and propose then worry about her answer, women have to worry about being attractive enough to attract a man, avoid the bad men that only want to use them or sleep with them and then when they find a good man, hope they didn't waste their time and that they are enough for the man to make the decision to propose, surely one has more difficulty than the other.

Not if they meet the right woman. You here many women on here say they don't even want to marry till 30. Well by then a man is more established in life. If he's still available, (and many of the good men aren't at that point) he has a lot more to lose by choosing the wrong woman. I've tried to explain this to women before on here. Just like women, guys will never fully lose their drive for companionship. But as guys get older what they're wiling to sacrifice for it WILL decrease. Because guys KNOW the best women DO NOT stay single. So as a guy ages the availability of quality becomes less and less. And if he chooses one of them low quality women, she can destroy his life. No guy wants to be starting over again at 30 and even less at 40.
