Are good or nice men perceived as weaker men and therefore more susceptible to abusive relationships?

Sometimes I think what people praise me for is the same thing that opens the door for me to fall into bad situations like I just came from. I’m a guy who treats women with respect and I also carry myself respectfully. I wasn’t abusive so therefore I was boring I brought normalcy but it wasn’t enough there had to be drama or chaos

it's why some abusive relationships aren't one sided and they're both abusive towards each other

Only if the guy doesn't have boundaries or self worth. To many guys today measure thier worth by the amount of women they attract. So if they don't attract many this leaves these guys afraid of losing the few women who do show interest. The reality is today there are lot of very low quality women who have no clue what a good man looks like. There's a lot of guys today who should not be dating ANY woman until he understands who he is.
