Do guys give girls a second chance?

A guy I met online pursued me and treated me well, but I got scared of my feelings for him, we argued and lost contact for months.

After finally dealing with my emotions now, I decided to apologize and finally move on, since I knew I was at fault for ruining such a good connection we had. But he still keeps chatting me about our common interest to keep the conversation going.

Does my apology looked like I wanted to get back with him? Is that how guys see it? or does he still wants me around to see if we can step up the relationship now? or does he still has feelings for me? I am confused since I just want to move on, but if he would give me a chance, I don't mind trying if we can work things out.

You are sending him mixed signals. You say you want to move on, but are willing to try again if you think it might work. Make up your mind, get off the fence. If you want to try again, let him know that. If you don't, stop chatting with him and move on.
