Do you guys give second chance to a girl after she cheats on you?

I have a friend whose girlfriend cheated on him and so they broke up. This girl came to him a year later and started crying. He is somewhat convinced. Do you guys think she will hurt him again?

She might hurt him again, but it's not a guaranteed thing. I'm not a possessive guy at all, so I probably wouldn't even care if my wife/girlfriend slept around. The only thing that would bother me is if she did some shit like bang other dudes in our marital bed or something. There's just a level of disrespect there... I feel like there has to be some place that's sacred, you know?

I have never been cheated on, but I wouldn't give a second chance for something like that. Even lying causes me to end the relationship, and cheating is a far worse form of lying to a partner.

1st. I had to work New Years Eve and 20 min before leaving phone rings & its girls I know from school. They bring up a party from the other night one my girlfriend went to while I went out with friends. They claim to have seen my girlfriend making out with this guy and leaving with him.

I call and told her not to wait up for me tonight and go out with the other guy & hung up on her. Then left for work. 20 min later she shows up at my job sobbing denying it. I believed her 😑

2nd. She went to Acapulco with friends on spring break. She called me and started crying I assumed she missed me. Later upon returning she acted normal enough but some other people from school went too. They told me they saw her and it wasn’t good. Thats when I clued in the crying was guilt. So she came over to watch a movie & I brought it up. I said be honest with me & if you don’t love me be honest and fucking leave. She sobbed apologizing saying she did and she loved me. A voice in my head was saying GTFO but the other was forgive. So I did. Things seemed fine afterwards.

3rd. I get into university & choose local one to stay close to her because she's a year younger. I figure she’ll goto the same one as I. Year later she decided to go away to school. 😑

I tried ending it then and there but she pulled the waterworks again & I gave in.

First week away on frosh week she banged another guy lol.

So it happened to me & will never happen again.
