Who should confirm the date?

Guy asked me out a date, I agreed. Communication is slowly getting more inconsistent and I’m unsure if the date is still on.

Yeah, sounds like more trouble than it’s worth. He knows you had a date set and chose not to mention it, you’re better off without that.

No I’m not. And I’m not expecting all day communication either. But I think inconsistency with anything this early on is a red flag if you are looking to date with intention. We agreed on a date. All I’m asking is who should confirm when the time comes. Thanks
