What do you think of those men who hide their girlfriend from his family?

Just beacuse these men believe is noone business to know he is dating. The only people who know about the girlfriend are the immediate family (parents, kids and siblings). This is the case

I hae a 50yrld male cousin with 2 grown up kids. He is just separated from his ex fro about 11 years now but legally he has not divorced yet. After his separation he had hang out with several ladies but nothing serious. After he ended up with one who is like 16 years younger who lets say is the one who had lasted longer but with this one it was on and off. Eight years ago he was dating this last lady but I remember hearing him he was going to see how things go with her but at that moment he never had thought of marrying again. This last lady has a small kid from a previous relationship but was always a single mother, even when she met my cousin for the first time, many years ago. When they first met my cousin never brought her to family gatherings like his date and never even mention him having someone during normal conversations with people, everything was hush hush for him to mention he was dating someone.

Then it seems they grew apart and my cousin was again single single since 4 years ago. It seems they re kindle their relationship like 2 years ago but then again my cousin behaves the same. He is seeing her indeed but he does not bring her to any family gatherings or mention he is dating, for him he prefers noone know. I mean there is nothing wrong of mention a person is dating someone, what is the crime there? For him is noone business.

Well I guess he's a fraud because there's no reason to do that I mean it's his life he can do what he wants to do he's old enough and it's okay to value the opinion of your family but it's also okay if they don't have a good opinion to say that's okay because I'm doing what I'm doing because I love this person I like this person and so be it if you have to hide a person there's a reason for it and it's not a good reason I would be curious why and I would not put up with it I mean it's just there's no reason to hide your girlfriend or your boyfriend from your parents or anybody else if you can't stand on your own two feet and say sorry but this is my choice either get used to it or you know we can make some other plans somehow whatever but this is my choice and please respect it and if you can't that's okay too I understand I respect that but yeah something's weird

Well, maybe he really does think it's nobody's business who he is dating. It could be nothing more than that.

I don't think I ever once introduced a girl I was dating to my family. Eventually they met her because I brought her around. Eventually they probably figured out that she was my girlfriend, but I never told them that. They probably didn't know anything at all about the majority of girls I dated.

It's not that I didn't think it was their business. There just wasn't any reason to introduce them or make a declaration about who she is.

He is probably cheating. It is like men that hide their phones, passwords etc. There is never any smoke without fire.

My uncle is in his late 70’s supposedly married for 40 years.
But recently the wife doesn’t live with him and I casually found a bra at his place when I visited that one time
No idea what’s going on there but it’s also none of my business
