Its not a girls vs guys thing. How would you feel being complimented by a girl you thought was ugly. That's all it is.

What specific situation are you talking about. Most of the time you can tell if a compliment is appreciated, or makes someone uncomfortable (which is what it is that women don't like)

I think what matters is if it’s a genuine complement or not. Who is attractive is subjective I understand there are more universally ugly people, such as people who refuse to even shower much less take care of anything else.

Some women sure are looking for attention but get annoyed when it’s not from the kind of people she wants it from. But that’s not the way all women are and even attractive dudes on the outside being super weird get away with it with some women until they fuck around with the wrong one and find out.

I think many men as well who complain about this would have different reactions to a beautiful woman giving him a complement, a average woman, and a very unattractive one…

Let me explain the results of this poll because I'm sure it's confusing to some of you why women say one thing and men say another. It's because women DO NOT like compliments from ugly guys, but women still want that ugly guy to compliment her. Most women erroneously feel a compliment is a pretext for something more. So it's not that women hate the compliment from the ugly guy. It's that she erroneously thinks by him complimenting her that he's saying he thinks he has a chance with her. And to her that is insulting. Women are like dogs. A dog never tires of being petted and a woman never tires of having her ego stroked.
