I mean, maybe I'm on the spectrum, but I keep overthinking when a guy said I could play at a festival overlooking the lake and he could join me on his harp.

I couldn't tell in the moment if he was being serious so I just smiled and said yeah.

I feel he was maybe testing the waters. Do guys do this to see if you're receptive?

THe short answer is: He was serious if he is in a realistic positon to make that happen (i. e. something like he is already playing at the festival, knows the owners and can make that happen)

I'm not sure whether you're overthinking something you know to be really possible, and are unsure of this guys intentions.

Or if there is a much more concerning possibility that this is not in the realm of plausibility (in terms of real-world practicality). Like if for example he doesn't play the harp, or the music festival isn't something he's really going to.

I had that second possibility occur to me, just now, in real-time. I'm not sure if I'm just ridiculously tired (I am indeed that).

As long as you don't loose sight of the bigger picture, because handpicking one interaction is too thin of an event to draw conclusions. I guess I should see in the future if he makes more suggestions like that or even tries flirting with me a bit more.

My accidental innuendo could've revealed my subconscious desires when I blurted out 'How big is your harp?' to him.. Using my hands to demonstrate the scale while I asked... Like the fool that I am.
And he seemed slightly self conscious for a second. He said '27 strings I think..' so then I said 'oh medium', and he replied 'yeah, medium'
It felt like we both paused and knew in that moment but we didn't say anything or laugh. It was supposed to be an innocent question... Oh.. god help me 😭
