Do women still approach you even though they know you have a girlfriend?

So I got this message from this girl who just said “Hi,” and that’s it. I responded. And went to a conversation, but just in case, I told her I had a girlfriend who I loved a lot, but told her I’m still cool with chatting. And she ghosted me. I’m like laughing because I didn’t know if she tried to seek me out still despite me having a girlfriend because I post stuff about my girlfriend on my profile. Or what?

Some treat it like a game/competition and some just don't care and go for what they want. I had one actually slap my butt while I was holding my girlfriend at the time. Luckily she knew I wasn't expecting it and didn't particularly like it with how it made me jump so she didn't make a big deal out of it, think she actually liked it more than I did. But she did indeed give the death stare to that girl as she was walking out. Some people just have no self-control / respect.

I don't have a girlfriend, but I rarely get approached these days regardless, so... But I've seen girls do it on reality shows. But it seems much more common for men to approach girls who are taken.

You can approach for more reasons than just getting a leg over. We want friends just like anyone else.
